That's right! Cade turns 3 this week. Every once and awhile Cade will do something that reminds me that he's not a baby anymore. He knows his ABC's and the sounds they make, can count to 20, is potty trained, knows lots of colors and shapes, loves to sing, draw/color, read and of course watch his favorite shows and movies. We often listen to the soundtrack of CARS or Wall-E in the car and he can tell me what's happening in the movie and recently surprised me with what was being said too! He has an innate sense of direction. When visiting G'ma Kathy he quickly oriented himself and knew where her apartment was and what # building she lived in. He has a very free and challenging spirit. He feels emotions very strongly which makes him the happiest boy and the most upset boy in a matter of seconds. He's working on telling me when he's sad or frustrated instead of just crying. He has a big heart. He runs to Daddy the second he walks in the door, insists on helping me get Alex out of his crib and sweetly hugs and kisses him. Of course he loves mommy a little too much making it hard for Daddy to help out with certain things. His energy is admirable and frustrating all at the same time and keeps me on my toes. I'm anxious for the year to come and the many new things we will get to experience through him. Happy Birthday Cade! Stay tuned for birthday celebration pictures!
happy happy birthday to Cade! I'll always remember when he was born- what a beautiful baby he was/is! And so smart and learning so much! I'm so proud of you, my laura, for being such a great mom and raising two beautiful boys.
