Is it families are forever, or families visits are forever?

Hahaha... just kidding! We have had a long string of visits with family. Our first plans were to head down to North Carolina on the 19th of June. Instead some of the family that was already visiting down in NC headed up to Virginia Beach on the 16th. 11 McBrides in all dawned upon us. We had a beach day and a Jamestown day before we all headed down to NC together. We got in too late on the 19th to celebrate Alex's 1st birthday so we did it one day late. All in all there were 21 McBrides together for a day before some of the troops headed back to Utah. We stayed through Wednesday and then headed towards Ft. Bragg to see Dan's nephew Gerrie graduate from his advanced training.

We arrived home from the NC trip late on Thursday and my Brother came in town on Tuesday to visit for the 4th of July. We hadn't seen him since I was living in Chicago during Dan's basic training. Luckily the weather was on our side and we had some great beach and waterpark days. We also made it to the zoo and ate some great food as a part of our 4th of July celebrations. The kids loved their Uncle Kevin, even though Alex is getting 8 teeth right now. Kevin may be glad to get back to a quieter house but we're so glad he came.
