Following by example

It truly is amazing how much our kids are watching what we do. Whether it be repeating what we say or what we do it provides us parents with a moment of reflection. Like the other day when Cade wanted to help me pour his milk and he grabbed the handle and put the whole jug up to his mouth to drink. Or when we find Cade wearing something like this-->

But my new favorite is what happened last night. I heard Cade go into the bathroom, I heard pee pee making it into the toilet, but I wasn't prepared for what I saw. I looked in the bathroom to check on him and there he was, lid up and all, standing and peeing. How's that for learning by example?!
