Oh what a wonderful May

So here begins the longest blog post ever, mostly full of pictures. I really tried to edit, but most were just too cute not to include.

The first batch of pictures are from when my dad and stepmom came to visit. It was my first time meeting her and it was their first time out to this area in a long time. We made some visits to the beach, Jamestown, and these pictures below are from the Botanical Gardens. It was gorgeous and they had a kid's splash park!

The rose area was is full bloom, smelled fantastic and looked amazing.

World of Wonders- splash park and more

This was the Asian garden. Pretty soon we'll have pictures from Korea!

We also got to see the USO's presentation of Sesame Street Live!

That's Alex saying, "Elmo!"

Less than a week after their visit I was able to fly out and suprise my sister for her birthday! Her husband Marcus set it all up and we had a blast. I hadn't met her two youngest kids, Kyle and Drew, and hadn't seen Valerie in 3 1/2 years. My favorite day was the one where we shopped, ate lunch at P.F. Chang's, got massages and then went to Olive Garden for dinner-- all without kids. My whole trip was without kids, but Val got a day without them too!

Then one day after I got back from Phoenix we had one of Dan's best friends visit with his wife and 4 1/2 year old son. We had visited them in Cincinnatti and so they drove out to see us. We started out partying at Chuck E. Cheese's, then had several days at the beach and had a fun watergun fight. Dave served his mission in Korea so they made us a Korean meal that was very good. It'll be fun to get to know all of that cuisine soon.

Oh, and not to forget playing Quelf, our new favorite game. Here's me doing an irish jig while singing the Wheels on the Bus.

It's been fun, a bit crazy and tiring, but fun to have all of these visits. Of course these are all happening because of our move out of the country. Visit www.mcbridesinkorea.blogspot.com to follow everything that's happening in the part of our life. It's coming up so soon!!!
